The Great Horns The entrance to St. Aggie's is sided with two huge rocks sticking up into the air that resemble Great Horned owls' ear tufts, hence the name.
Caves These caves are home to the Ablah General and the First Lieutenant. Very near the top of the canyon and exposed to the daylight, they are the highest point of St. Aegolius Academy for Orphaned Owls. Further down is the sub-lieutenants' caves.
Glaucidium Every night, owlets are marched through the glaucidium. They sleep for a while, then are woken up and are forced to march, saying their own names over and over again. Then they go back to sleep, and the whole process continues throughout the entire night. Sleeping under the moon is what promotes moonblinking.

Moon Blaze Chamber As punishment, owls that are not moonblinked are marched in here, where the moon's scalding light is so bright that the strongest cannot help but fall asleep. Falling asleep here results in ultimate moonblinking.

Pits The pits are where owls and owlets line up to get their number name. There are dozens of pits, and each one has a pit guardian.
Eggorium The eggorium is where broodies sit on stolen eggs. Many times, the eggs are a mixture of different kinds of owls, and none of them match the broody's species. This is to make the newborn chicks believe they have no parents. When an egg hatches, it is given a number name and moonblinked.

Pelletorium This is where the most disgusting work of St. Aggie's is carried out. Owls are forced to pick apart pellets to fish out the flecks nestled deep within them. Each pellet houses one fleck, and they have to be handled with great care.

Inventorium In the Inventorium, owls use parts of pellets, including flecks, to create things.
Armoury In the armoury, battle claws are fashioned, as well as other weapons in the case of times of battle.

Library The library is where the flecks are stored, and is strictly off-limits to anyone but the Ablah General and the lieutenants. This is the highest point of the canyon from where one can fly from.
