Desen and his troops finally past the barrens, and made it to the canyonlands. ~we should be making our way past the great horns soon~ thought Voro as they made a short break at a hollow with a very nice rouge smith.
later as they flew off..
"Where are those imbiciles..?! *sigh* I'll have to lead 3 scout armies myself then..Battle claws! all of you!"
As Denrak's patrol flew off, Desen's invasion group was slowly progressing.
"Weather report!" desen asked.
"the wind is on our side!" shouted a great grey that was recently drafted to the weather chaw.
"good!"
Desen thought back to when the king had asked for the invasion plan. He was alarmed when Voro and himself would be leading the attack. he remembered the exact words: " this is only to be a skirmish, Desen..we must test the power of St. aggies, not charge at a full force."
"alright, the great grey and snowies come with me. elf owls and northern saw whets follow with Voro."
Denrak and his troops made it to the great horns. "this is it! attack! now!!!"
The battle had begun.
Desen and the new great grey struck st. aggies owls with great force. Voro and some elf owls were fighting with the Ablah general and some short eared owls. "take that!" shouted Denrak.
Denrak charged for Desen. "I recodnize that voice..Denrak!" Voro rushed for Denrak and Desen. Both of them fighting with battle claws, clashing back and forth, Voro had to stop them. "Denrak!!!" Voro screamed. "Voro..? Your a Ga'hoole..?!" screamed Denrak with anger. "Voro!!! You traitor!!!" Denrak shouted with rage. Denrak slashed at Desen, causing Desen to tumble to a tree nearby. ~I'm going yeep, im going yeep!~ Voro thought over and over. "your days as a Ga'hoole end here,Voro!" said Denrak. Voro raised his battle claws and began to fight.
(( if your confused what this is, here are some questions to answer:
Is Desen dead..?: No, he is knocked out.
Can other people with bios related to ga'hoole and st. aggies use this thread..?: absolutly, but the skirmish will have to end some time ya know.
(( do I have to have a owl that is the same species listed in this post..?: no, I actually think it would be good to have more owl types in this little battle.
thank you, this is the begining of the skirmish of the great horns!))

(Haha, srry, All my owls are great grays. xP)
She flew in her rightfull place by her Ablah General's side. Her wing-span was far greater than Denrek's and she was careful to fly below him. The Ga'Hoole owls were invading. My chance is now. Was the only thought running through her mind at the moment. Frost's Beak clacked open and close as she approched Desen and some great gray. Her talons flexed and she was in battle.
Frost vered away from Denrek long ago, taking care to go after the smaller creatures. She avoided the large great gray and went for some elf owls. Her wings didnt lift a feather as she glided about, soon lighted down on a branch, watching everything. No one would take notice to her.
When some owl fell to the ground, she'd go and check if it was a St.Aggies, when it wasnt, she left it to suffer. Her own, she'd help. Both sides were falling but one particular owl caught her eye, some high ranking Ga'Hoole. The great gray lighted down on a branch near Desen. Her head cocked as she tryed to put a name to the heap of feathers, but none came to mind as she was hit in the back of the head. Searing pain lashed through her and she took off. The large Great gray was glaring at her.
From under her mask of emotionlessness, Scherl, the great gray, was furious. "You Frink me off Frost, you know that."
"Now, now, Scherl, dont get touchy. You were never one to to that." Frost's battle claws gleamed as she lunged for a hold on her sister's neck. Apparently, Scherl had done better than one thought Scherl would. In an instant, the Great Gray was flapping her wings furiously to get away, something wet leaking from her eyes. Frost did a birdy smirk and took off for her Ablah General.

( correct )
Voro slashed at his brother, with his Ice dagger and splinter, he attacked again. Denrak, raged, attempted to make the killing blow. Voro made a counter and slashed at Denrak's eye. Denrak screamed in pain. Voro had ripped his brother's left eye out.

Frost stayed to the side, circling the two brothers, malice dotting her eyes as they passed over Voro. She knew she couldnt - or didnt - join in to help her Ablah General. Amber eyes watched carefully as the two Northern Saw-Somethings got even worse towards eachother. In a second she could make the counter and kill that Voro, but she stayed out. Well, that is untill Denrek shreaked in pain.
Her battle claws itched for some action and she couldnt let her General fly blind in one eye. The Great Gray dove from the higher position to Denrek's tail feathers. "Sir, give the word and I'll get him." She couldnt keep out the joy that made it's way into her voice.

Denrak glared at the great grey with his 1 eye. "stay..out of this!!!"Denrak swatted the great grey in the head and darted at Voro. Suddenly, 2 owls appeared in front of Voro. It was Neyrem and Desen. The 2 spotted owls came and slashed Denrak with their Ice swords. Denrak sqealed in pain and rage. "voro! you imbicile! how could you!?" "I had the same question for you, brother.." Denrak plummeted to the ground of the canyons, with the 2 ice swords stuck in his evil gizzard. Voro flew down to meet his dead brother. Suddenly.. Denrak rose from the ground and held the two ice swords in his talons. bleeding eternally, this was the special ability that the northern saw whet family has.they can last days with deadly wounds, and recover faster than tthe average owl. "arrgh!!VORO!!!!" Voro noticed the eye slash..it had been filled in! Desen and Neyrem notice this as well. "Voro! its the hagsfiend eye!" shouted Neyrem while fighting a Great grey, suposively the 1st liutenant. Voro went into a sleepy daze. "Your finished!" ..sheeeeng! the swords slashed, but it was not the little northern saw whet, Voro..It was Desen! "urgh..Denrak, your life ends here! this..ugh..is my final attack!!" Desen lunged with his battle claws, and struck Denrak.
...shrinng!
Denrak, open beaked, said his final words.. " I ma be gone..but..there is..another one..who shall tak my place..of ruler of st. aggies..ruler..of the owl world!" Desen released Denrak, the dead ablah general plummeted to the floor of the canyonlands. "..farewell, brother." A medical unit of owls flew in, treating Desen's injuries. Voro was given more ice splinters, and him, the great grey, and neyrem were left to fight and win on the great horns.
Inside the canyons was Denrak's unknown mate, and an egg, an egg that was soon to hatch..and when it did..The owl world could change completely..

Her wings flapped repeatedly as Frost pushed her way backward. She was furious at Denrek. The Great Gray's head throbbed from the hit she resived from the Saw-whet. Over her daze and in shock that the Albah General was falling, dead, to the ground, Frost lunged at the nearest Guardian owl. She screeched a battle cry and attacked Neyrem.
Battle claws expertly dodged or pushed away the ice sword when it came close. Although she could not get her attacks in, she missed any killing hits. She heard a scream and flew away from Neyrem. Her eyes grew wide as she flew in to see the Northern Saw-Whet dieing. She didnt hear any of the owl's last words, but she knew she now had no order to stay back and watch him have all the fun.
Soon she had killed some owl with an ice sword. Frost flew out of the canyons from which she got her battle armor adjusted. In a the few moments it took for Voro and Neyrem to get new ice splinters, the Great Gray had made her way there and back. She gulped once, she had a horriable feeling in her gizzered. Frost flapped her wings and waited for one of the Guardians to make the first attack.

an artillary unit of st. aggies soldiers flew off to meet the 1st liutenant. "1st liutenant, you have been requested to meet Denrak's mate at the main cave. ( dont go to a different sub-board, just stay on this thread)"
the artillary unit flew off.

Her iron colored beak clacked as she flew off from the Ga'Hoole owls. Mate? Thoughts were racing as she flew on the higher thermals. Frost's eyes darted from side to side as she watched for some female Northern Saw-Whet with an egg or something. Finally, she was at the Main cave. The Great gray rose her head as she lighted down. "Um....Denrek's Mate?" She took a step in and paused.

"hello" Denrak's mate replied. "you see this egg here? this is to be our new Ablah General. YOU are to be the main advisor of the owlet. You will watch after him, teach him to fly, and help him to lead the St. Aggies canyons. If you fail, you will be banished from the canyons."
with that, Denrak's mate flew off.

Frost lowered her head to look at the egg. Her amber eyes suddenly looked hard as she lowered more to become eye level with the unhatched egg. As soon as Denrek's mate had flown off, the Great Gray Screeched. "Im no broody, you hagsfeind." She shut her beak, she wasnt one to let her temper get a hold of her. With a deep breath, Frost tapped the egg with a talon. She didnt know who the mate was nor when the egg was to hatch.

The egg started to wobble..then crack..A small Owlet came out. The owl, supposed to be now known as Corynce, stared at the great grey happily. The owlet ull of wonder, stepped out of the shell.

As a loud crack split the silence of the main cave, Frost tottered backwards. Clutching the edge to check for anyone from Ga'Hoole coming. When she saw no one, she hopped backward and turned, only to see the Saw-Whet hatchling staring up at her. Frost's talon's twitched as she looked around the nest. She mad no motherly instincs, for she was still young, and not much compassion to show.
"I heard word of a chick hatching to a female on this parts. You will be know as Corynce, little one." Frost gulped, she'd have to show some kind of niceness to this chick.

(( okay, heheh, kinda scared me there ;D ))
Corynce stared at the great grey. "okay, but whats your name..?" corynce said with much wonder. "I gotta know your name too."
This little owl was full of wonder.
Suddenly-
Voro flew past the great grey and inside the throne room. Voro noticed the little owl, and was extremely confused. ~No egg gest out alive without being eaten at birth..strange~

(Im sorry...xP)
With a sigh, Frost gave in. She felt the presence of another owl, and twisted her head around to check. Seeing nothing, the Great Gray looked back at Corynce. "My name is Frost." Her words were simple as she spoke, still alert from the owl she thought was there. "Now, lets find some... moss or something."
