It wasn't long after the marching. Kindle sat in a corner of the pit. She wasn't a moon blinked owl, though she had no idea how she managed to avoid it. She had heard of owls with minds strong enough to resist it. That didn't sound like her. There seemed no reason that she could understand why she was not moon blinked. And indeed every night that they marched she expected to become like the rest. For some reason though, it just didn't happen. Kindle wondered whether someday the owls here may get fed up with her and let her return to her home. Not that she really had a home anyway. So she supposed it didn't matter. Atleast here she was being looked after...Sort of...
She stood quietly watching the pit. Doing very little, and indeed she wasn't even sure what she was meant to be doing. She always ended up feeling a little confused for a few hours after the march. She sometimes couldn't help feeling the being moon blinked would help her more than it would hinder her. It may make her mind a little clearer.
But for now she just sat and waited. What for, she wasn't sure, but she was waiting all the same.

Steel looked out a small crack to look out. a guard was flying around, and they were checking every pit. they will find this hidout soon, we need to get to another one. he thought as he started to get ready jump.
the guard look as if he was about to come it. no or never the thought as he kicked the dirt "door" open and grabbed the little owl and he started to run/fly holding onto this bird with one talon draging, and wings flapping wildly. he has just learned how to fly and wasnt really good, so he tried to be quiet, and flew to a pit where a guard just left. the little owl gave alittle yelp. and it didnt seem to be heard by anyone. they hid alittle of of the pit, in a small ditch-like place, waiting. guess thats all I do, wait he thought as he started calming the little owl.

At that moment the other owl had deliberately grabbed poor shaking Claymore and ran to the exit of the burrow. So quickly, Claymore tried to calm down and not panic, he could feel a breeze rustling through his feathers as the owl tried to fly low carrying Claymore in his talons. He smashing his eyes closed and tried to wrap his wing around his small black body to make himself feel a little safer. There was too much happening for him to grasp and calm down, too many phobias reaching at him menacingly while laughing as he cried. No, Claymore couldn't even cry. There was too much happening in only a few minutes, usually his day was a routine of watching up after a shitty night, going around with fear pulling his veins, every owl keeping a distance away from him, and occasionally his punishments for letting the phobias attack him. By the time the owl stopped to release him, Claymore was a small, tight, black emo ball of feathers, curled up with Claymore rocking back and forth shaking madly with fear. His large eyes were snapped tight and not wanting to open, his body was rocking and shaking uncontrollably as he tried to calm his mind and conscious down.

Kindle's eyes widened as another two owls came into the pit. One looked like he was hiding the other was...Well...he didn't seem to be doing anything that made any sense. She took a timid step towards the two, then frowned and hesitated in confusion. What had he done to the little bird. The black one seemed to have totally lost his mind. Kindle didn't understand. She didn't understand most things, but this was something that she didn't understand even more than the normal things that she didn't understand and that led to huge confusion in her poor little mind that couldn't understand this.
"Hello," she said, rather calming for someone as confused as she was at the moment. "What's that?" She asking, pointing a wing at Claymore. She was quite certain that it was an owl. Although this was hardly normal behavior. Maybe he was unwell. Maybe he was just needed a rest. Or maybe...
She moved towards the black owl and prodded him with her wing. "Are you dying?" She asked. Afterall, he hardly seemed healthy.

Steel was shocked. this owl seemed... sane. non-moon blunk. Steel pushed the new bird behind the rock where they hid, and made sure no one noticed. "Sorry for that shove. I am Steel. you don't seem like a moon-blinked owl." he said, as he looked over to the black ball "I am what you may call a infiltrator. I just started my "job", to say, and I am trying to help this little one. he/she hasn't told me its name yet, for we got kinda chased here. with that her turned back to this new owl with all that said, whats your name?

"I'm Kindle," she said. She rubbed her wing where Steel had shoved her. It didn't hurt much, but it took her a moment to realise that and then she dropped her wing back down to her side and looked at the new owl, Steel, again. "What's wrong with him?" She asked, glancing down at the small black owl with a puzzled frown. "owls aren't meant to do that..." She said with an 'It's true y'know' look on her face.

Steel looked over to the black ball of feathers. the poor thing was scrared... why did they do this to such young owls? "He's alittle scared. I guess he has some phobia's, and right now, he just needs to cool off. I just dragged this bird into a small hole, and dragged it here. he then turn to the small ball. "Are you ok? I'm sorry for dragging you around."

Denrek, the large northern saw whet owl flew over one of the pits. He noticed a dirt like door, and decided to take a look. Denrek had only been the Ablah General for 14 moon cycles, and had not seen all the secret passageways of the canyonlands. He swooped down, landed softly, and searched the dirt door. THUD! Denrek thrusted his battle claws at the ground like door.

Denrak bursted through the dirt door to find..nothing. nothing but a small feather. "This was molted..Recently! Someone knows something I dont.. and im going to find out what." said Denrak. He flew off to search owls that match the color of the feather and were in the pit recently.

Denrak spotted the owl behind the rock. the owl matched the molted feather exactly.
" Heheheh..hello there, do you mind telling me how you got into the dirt cave..?"
the owl seemed alarmed.
" not responding eh..? looks like I'll have to tear the secrets from you! raah!!"
Denrak lundged with his battle claws, modified with bolt-like tips to tear flesh easily.
