Free Will's Plot
Basicly there are two warring nations. These nations lie on the same continent. They are only on the same continent because of a very wide penninsula that connects them however. The first nation is a democracy of sorts where the king rules somewhat like a president. However, disorder and lack of actual culture has plagued the place along with criminal bands because freedom is taken advantage of. This nation is called Crusad'ell, and it is declining in power due to so much curruption among it's people. Very few are honorable.
The second nation is a nation which is ruled by a harsh dictatorship that keeps everyone on a tight leash. A man with the last name of Salamin, self-appointed ruler of this place, is a guy with a religeon very similiar to that of Muslims today. Anyone against his religeon in his country is executed by any means nessicary. He sees Crusad'ell as an ambominatoin. Thus the two are at war. Oh, and the second nation is called Resht. The men there are brave, determined, and disiplined.
Both countries import slaves from another continent named Jar'bama. There, people dark skinned, of darker skin even than those in Resht whom are desert livers, are treated poorly, and sold by thier bretheren. They are considered to be equal only to cattle.
On the wide penninsula is a thieves guild city called Tetry'alla. No one knows wether it lies with Crusad'ell or Resht. Therefore it is, thusfar, untouched. They side niether way,but look for the most morally correct path. (Stealing when nessicary and killing is not wrong in thier eyes unless unjustified and widespread instead of occasional occurances of these sins is considered horrible.)
Last there is a band of Mercenaries called the Yzar. They work for whosoever pays best.
Also, though there is hardly any magic there are two items of spiritual relevance. One is a sword that will always bless the man whom wields it with victory. It is held by a man in Resht's dungeons. However, though he cant remember anything the people in his dreams tell him not to give it up. For the sword cannot be wielded unless freely given.
Another spiritual "Binding" of sorts is that if you lay your hand over your heart and swear something, you are bound to it by penelty of death.
Which side will you choose? You do have Free Will.
