Physical Description
Almost pure white, Reed only has a few smudges of grey around the tips of wings and around her face. Her eyes are a little larger then normal, but very sincere looking. Her left talon is slight smaller then the other one.
Personality
Reed is very gentle, but can get very severe when she has too. She always seemed older then her age, even though she was the last chick to hatch. She has times when she loses her temper, and can be very dangerous when she does. But most of time she is very organized.
History
The last egg to hatch of a brood of three, Reed grew up in a loving family in Silverveil, with her father Nonr, her mother Lorea, and her brother and sister, Aerol and Rowan.
Dreaming of adventures for what she now views as a temporary brain lapse, Reed left to travel to the northern kingdoms, but soon met Kylf, a young elf owl just a little yoicks.
Roleplay Sample
Reed stared at the elf owl in front of her, and it stared defiantly back. There was no moon, and the snowy saw clearly in the complete darkness. “Who are you?” Reed asked cautiously, flapping her wings to steady herself as she rocked back and forth slightly due to her undersized talon. “I’m Kylf. And you are..?” Reed opened her beak to reply, but the elf owl plowed ahead. “Never mind. Where are you going?” This time she didn’t even attempt to answer Kylf, and the little owl didn’t notice. “I’m going to Northern Kingdoms. Did you come from there? You are a snowy. Don’t snowy owls live in the Northern Kingdoms? I came from the desert of Kuneer. Awful place, you wouldn’t want to go there.” “Awful place? But don’t elf owls..” Reed trailed off, confused. “Oh sure but that doesn’t mean that I love it.” “Oh.” Reed was unsure what to say, this little owl had completely stunned her in the first few seconds they had met. The elf owl watched her, studying her face intently. “Let’s start again. Just answer all the questions I just asked you.” She tilted her head in an inquiry. Reed nodded, and tried to remember everything that Kylf had said. “My name is Reed.”

Physical Description
Almost all light brown, with a few speckles of darker brown. Markings, splotches and stuff like that are fainter and harder to distinguish around the head. Her eyes are round, but the tufts above her eyes often make her eye look slanted in an almost frown.
Personality
Temperamental and hyper is the best way to describe Kylf. She is very independent, and tries to accept the fact that everyone thinks something is wrong with her because of how long she went without hatching by telling herself it makes her special. She is fighter. She often interrupts/ignores/is rude to other owls except Reed. Her too sometimes. It’s her reaction of being fussed over and whispered about by her family.
History
Like Reed, Kylf was the last egg to hatch. But unlike Reed, she wasn’t just a normal youngest owlet. After her sisters, Jaya and Maya had hatched and already grown to be a week old, Kylf didn’t hatch for several more weeks. Her father, Freine, firmly believed that she would NOT hatch, but her mother Jayne said she felt it in her gizzard and refused to leave the nest. After she hatched, she had no idea that hatching late was a problem. Until her father and sisters started acting strange. And whispering. Her mother was the only one who thought she was normal, but Freine constantly said something was wrong with her. Even though he didn’t know what, and she seemed perfectly normal. And she finally just left, and met Reed.
Roleplay Sample
Kylf hopped from stone to stone, shooting glances up at the rocky outcroppings jutting out from the ground a few yards away. Since elf owls lived in the desert, they couldn’t do normal branching like other owls when learning to fly. They usually learned from flitting from one rock to another. Like those outcroppings. Kylf remembered when she was still very young she watch her sisters Maya and Jaya branching on them, and thinking excitedly about when she would get to do the same. But when she was fledged enough to begin, her father had informed her that she would be branching on the small, soft rocks that littered the land. She had asked why, but her father simply said she was too young. “But I’m the age for branching! Maya and Jaya were my age when they branched.” But Kylf knew why he had said that. She had heard the whispers, her mother was the only one who believed she was normal. She knew that the rest thought something was wrong with her, just because she hatched late.
